KL Rahul is the fastest to reach 5000 runs in IPL. The Indian batter took just 130 IPL innings to reach the mark, whereas it took 135 innings for David Warner. But Warner was the first-ever overseas batter to reach the 5000-run mark in the league.

Warner played for Delhi Daredevils from 2009 to 2013 before Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him in 2014. He has won the Orange Cap thrice in IPL, which is the highest in the tournament’s history.
